How Gifted Thoughts Came to Life!

Thirty years ago, Colleen’s dream of opening a gift shop filled with unique treasures and thoughtful touches was just an entertaining fantasy of Gifted Thoughts. 

In 2004, Colleen was gifted with baby Carly who quickly became a clone, passionate about shopping for the perfect gift to express her love to others. Giving back in a memorable way to others became that special bond between mother and daughter. 

That same year, Colleen met Kim at a furniture design shop in Alpharetta, GA. Kim’s talent and personality was immediately appealing and inspiring. A chance meeting quickly turned into a lifelong friendship; Kim became the godmother to Carly.  

Years later in 2026, all three ladies with different backgrounds but similar interests reconvened in Satellite Beach, Florida. This is when the fun started and reality brewed. The Dream Team realized it was the right place at the right time to go for it! 2026 was the year to not just open Gifted Thoughts but to create a shopping experience unlike any other - one designed to help find the perfect gift to make their loved ones feel nurtured and special. With Colleen’s lifelong dream, Carly’s fresh enthusiasm, and Kim’s expertise, Gifted thoughts came to life!

The name Gifted Thoughts was challenged by a plethora of others, but it was still the chosen one from 30 years ago. Meet sweet Opal who is our Gifted Thoughts Elephant! Opal has deep wisdom, loyalty, and a remarkable memory; she reminds us to never forget the special people in our lives and the meaningful moments we share. Sometimes she even ties a ribbon around her trunk to remind herself to never forget! Every gift at Gifted Thoughts carries the same sentiment - the right gift isn’t just an object, but is a heartfelt expression of love, appreciation, and connection.
